Gena- Not so different, after all
Here are some key themes we heard today during the 2016 Beijing International Science Education Development Round Table. Sound familiar?
-Students need to be able to evaluate, innovate and make- not just memorize.
-Teachers can model the science skills that help students create science.
-Students learn best when we focus on the *process* not the product.
-Students need to be able to cope with adversity, be able to work together and be able to communicate what they’ve learned. People skills are important.
